After spotting her former teacher in the audience, Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage stopped performing at a concert in London.
Savage stopped and left the stage during her performance at the Little Simz’ Meltdown Festival Show to speak with a tutor who had taught her English years prior.
The singer approached the man to embrace him and spoke with him briefly in a social media video that is currently trending.
She said, “This is my English teacher,” as she walked over to him.
The crowd erupted in yelling as a result of the incident.
This comes just days after the singer’s former husband, Tee Billz, criticized her for not spending enough time with their son, Jamal.
Additionally, Tee Billz said that Savage’s management overbooked her.
