In a touching Father’s Day video, Simi and her daughter Adejare popularly called, Deja gifted Adekunle Gold opulent presents as a surprise.
As his family eagerly waited, the Rodo crooner—who is known to adore football—was spotted opening the presents. As he thanked his wife and children, Adekunle Gold disclosed that the gifts came from “the stables of Sim and Deja Kosoko.”

Adekunle Gold asked Simi about boxers in jest during the unwrapping, which made his wife giggle. Then, despite his humorous tirade about the one item he didn’t receive, he congratulated her for setting a wonderful example for women.
The singer, who once voiced her displeasure over the nickname her fans gave her daughter, requested Deja to give her father a hug and wish him a happy Father’s Day in a kind gesture. The artist acknowledged how much he loves and values his family in spite of his lighthearted grumblings.
