Samuel Oguachuba, often known as Samklef, is a Nigerian music producer who has caused online indignation with a statement on artist Davido’s postponed London performance with American rap icon 50 Cent.
Davido recently declared his intention to withdraw from the eagerly awaited event, which was scheduled to take place at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The Unavailable crooner informed fans in a post that he had to cancel because the organizer had made bad arrangements.
However, Samklef came up with a contrary story that went viral online and appeared to be a dig.
The producer said in a now-viral tweet that 50 Cent himself asked for Davido’s departure from the program after looking at his previous performances, not that Davido did so voluntarily.
“I just spoke to @50cent. I ask am why e comot Davido. Him say he watch him performance come look say he no Dey up to Wizkid and Burna Boy standard. All him performance na jump e dey jump for stage. So he come tell the show promoter make dem comot am! 😂”.
Many criticized Samklef for “chasing clout” and continuously disparaging Davido without cause after the post caused a stir on social media.
