Wizkid is not among the top three Nigerian artists according to singer D’banj.
In an interview with the Adesope podcast, D’banj stated that the only artists he is currently enjoying are singers Rema, Davido, and Burna Boy.
D’banj commended Davido for his consistency and humility, Burna Boy for his intentionality, and Rema for his enthusiasm, but he left Wizkid off his list.
Singer D’banj has excluded Wizkid from his top three artistes in Nigeria.
D’banj, in an interview on the Adesope podcast, named singers Rema, Davido, and Burna Boy as the only artistes he is currently listening to.
While excluding Wizkid from his list, D’banj praised Rema for his energy, Burna Boy for being intentional, and Davido for his humility and consistency.
Adesope asked: “Who are your artistes that you are listening to now? Just give me three.”
“Shout out to Rema. I love Rema’s energy. You know, there’s this guy that I love a lot and he loves me too. He will be doing as if tomorrow, if he wakes up, there’s no money—David is hustling like he doesn’t have money.
“And I think people should learn from how he carries himself, like he does not have a penny, yet he is so consistent. Then Burna Boy is too intentional—his live shows are amazing.”
