Teebillz, a music executive and Tiwa Savage’s ex-husband, has been under fire online after making a contentious post that many saw as a subtle jab at contemporary female DJs, particularly those who have had Brazilian B*tt Lift (BBL) procedures.
Teebillz posted a picture of legendary Nigerian disc jockey DJ Jimmy Jatt on Instagram, complimenting the veteran while disparaging today’s performers, writing: “It’s so sad that any idiots with BBL can be a DJ now… God bless the King @djjimmyjatt.”
Many social media users deduced that his comment was directed at female DJs who are more renowned for their appearance than their technical prowess, even though he didn’t specifically name anyone.
As expected, the post generated strong reactions online.
