Nathaniel Bassey, a well-known Nigerian pastor and gospel singer, has joined others from all around the world in responding to the deadly airline tragedy in India.
Reports state that at least 265 bodies have been found at the scene of a passenger airliner headed for London that crashed into a residential neighborhood of Ahmedabad, India.
Shortly after departing Ahmedabad airport, the downed Air India aircraft reportedly lost signal. According to Legit.ng, a couple and their kids lost their aspirations when the Air India plane crashed, and they perished in the catastrophe.
There were 242 persons on board the plane that crashed near Ahmedabad, including Dr. Pratik Joshi, his wife, Dr. Komi Vyas, and their three kids.
In response, Nathaniel prayed for those who lost loved ones and called the incident a heartbreaking scene.
“Air India crash, Such gory sight. My heart and prayers to those who have lost loved ones. May the Lord strengthen them. These are such critical times. But our hope and trust is in GOD. May the Lord preserve your going out and coming in. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
