Fans of several celebrities have turned to them in recent years in an attempt to receive financial support; some have even gone so far as to beg for money. Some celebrities decline these requests, but others give them good answers.
Tiwa Savage responded to the practice by posting a statement on her official social media website to anyone contacting her for financial support. On her Instagram stories, the musician shared a TikTok video that went viral showing someone pointing people in the direction of several banks in order to get money.
In her words: “Because even me sef the economy don show me shege. I am a single mother abeg, I dey hustle night and day. May God bless us all.”
