A Nigerian father is heard complaining in a video after a store in Ilorin, Kwara state’s Emirate Mall allegedly refused him entry due to the appearance of his child.
During the Eid holiday, the father and his special needs youngster went to the mall. The dad wearing white traditional garb held his pink-dressed daughter in his hand. He apparently tried to enter a supermarket to buy a few things but was supposedly turned away.
Annoyed by the action of the staff, he expressed his disappointment saying;
‘’This is a supermarket….she is also a child like other children here. Those children are not crying. They welcomed them. Now the staff are walking us out because of my baby. No problem” he said
In another part of the video, the dad could be seen hyping his baby girl so she would not feel bad over the alleged treatment meted out to them.
