Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Brain Jotter has expressed sadness at the death of seasoned musician Mike “Gentleman” Ejeagha.
Report reveals that on Friday night, the musician who gained popularity for his song “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo” passed away from prostate cancer.
In response to the news, Brain Jotter posted a video he recorded with Ejeagha on a 2024 visit to Enugu on Instagram on Saturday.
Brain Jotter captioned the photo, saying, “He made magic (Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo song) 39 years ago.” We danced to it once more 39 years later. Although he is now at rest, his melody endures forever. Legend, may you rest in peace.
Remembers how Brain Jotter utilized Ejeagha’s 1983 song “Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo” in a dance challenge last year, which helped it regain popularity across the nation and on social media.
After the challenge dance received over 19.6 million views on TikTok and over 29.1 million views and 30,000 comments on Instagram, the creator of the skit paid the singer a visit with a N2 million cash gift.
