Darey Art Alade, a well-known R&B artist from Nigeria, lost his vehicle in a fire.
On Friday, the singer’s vehicle caught fire near the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State.
No one was killed, according to Deola, the singer’s wife, who shared the tragic news on her Instagram page.
Sharing their experience in a joint statement on Saturday, the couple noted that lives that cannot be replaced were not lost.
“Yesterday, our car caught fire around 4pm on the 3rd Mainland Bridge & burnt to the ground.
“It was a shocking experience but we are grateful that the driver was safe, and that is what truly matters. No lives were lost.
“This reminds us of how unimportant the material things become in face of life itself” she stated.
