The masters of Afrobeats artist Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage as Kizz Daniel, have been recovered from his previous record company, G-Worldwide, for his debut album, New Era.
In addition to reclaiming the masters of his famous songs Yeba and Sofa, the artist made the announcement on Monday via his X Twitter.
“The accomplishment means more than words can convey,” Kizz said.
After many meditations and long hours in the studio, he wrote, “I now own every song on the ‘New Era album’ 2016 + Yeba & Sofa (singles).”
“My master’s was returned to me. There is more to this than words can convey. I appreciate you riding with me. #MyCatalog #NewEra #Grateful
On May 14, 2016, Kizz Daniel’s debut album, New Era, was released by his previous record company, G-Worldwide.
After announcing his resignation from G-Worldwide in November 2017, he established Flyboy I.N.C. as his own label. Emperor Geezy, his former label boss, filed a lawsuit against him, but he was found not guilty of any of the allegations.
In 2023, Kizz Daniel declared that Emperor Geezy had been named the new CEO of Flyboy I.N.C., his imprint.
