In a heartfelt Tribute, Nigerian musician Orezi laments the passing of his father.

Orezi, a Nigerian singer, is grieving the loss of his father.

He expressed the weight of the loss in a moving Instagram post, calling it the most agonizing event of his life.

“In the last couple of hours, my world came crashing down. Death has taken away my guardian angel, my greatest cheerleader, my mentor & my role model.”

He continued by expressing his shock and sorrow he currently faces:

“I am shattered, confused, sad and heartbroken.
A type of pain I have never experienced in my entire life.”

The singer, whose real name is Esegine Allen, showered his hurt in the post, calling out to his late father in disbelief.

“This feels like a dream and so unreal, somebody pinch me.
Daddy please wake up!!
Oh my sweet daddy I can’t believe you’re gone, I have cried and cried but yet these tears still continue to flow.”

He asked friends and supporters to pray for him and his family during this trying time as he concluded the message.
