Caramel Plugg, a well-known Nigerian influencer and content producer whose real name is Ogechi Ukonu, is in the news again after revealing an odd incident she had overseas that has caused controversy on the internet.
Caramel shared a video on her Instagram stories about how a married man next to her volunteered to cover her stay at random when she was checking into a hotel abroad.
She uttered incredulously:
I just checked into my hotel, and I am about to check in, and this man beside me said, ‘I would like to pay for your hotel.’ I am shocked, I am so confused”
According to the skit maker, who previously gained notoriety for her tearful breakup with King Manny, she questioned another hotel visitor if such gestures were common, and the guest acknowledged that it was highly unusual.
