Darlington Okoye, better known by his stage name Speed Darlington, is adamant that the contentious video he filmed in which he claimed to have had sex with a 15-year-old virgin at a hotel was a joke.
As a law-abiding person, Speed Darlington said in a statement to the Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, or NAPTIP, that he has never participated in or considered participating in any kind of sexual predation.
He went on to say that although the video was created for amusement, it has since gone too far.
Speed Darlington stated that he will only be ready to provide further clarification on June 26 in response to the agency’s invitation to report to their National Headquarters today, June 2.
