Recall that custody of their daughter, Imade, has been the source of contention between Davido and Sophia Momodu. While Sophia requested exclusive custody of their 9-year-old kid, the musician requested shared custody. Additionally, it was reported that Davido had not communicated with Imade Adeleke for more than two years.
Without her father present, Imade celebrated her tenth birthday in May. Many believed they would get back together soon, even though he sent her a happy birthday message online.
Her parents made the decision to host a sumptuous birthday celebration for her that included relatives and friends.
Davido was seen walking into the birthday venue and later joined by his favorite uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
After years of being apart from his first daughter, Imade Adeleke, Davido was relieved.
On social media, the Afro-pop artist revealed the wonderful news of his reunion with Imade after two years apart.
He joyfully made lighthearted comments about their reunion in a recent video that his best friend Cubana Chief Priest posted.
