In a viral video posted on her page, Queen Mercy Atang, a former housemate on the Big Brother Naija reality show, explained why she unfollowed her husband on Instagram.
She recalls that the single mother of one married David Oyekanmi in March 2024, sparking rumors of a marital crisis a few months later when she deleted their wedding photos and unfollowed him on Instagram.
“I was trying to take my marriage off social media because my husband’s handle is out there, with a lot of ladies sliding in his DM to say both positive and negative things.
“I just want to protect my marriage and reduce some of the things I put out there”, she stated.
