Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has released a new song in which he attacks the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
On social media, Eedris Abdulkareem’s latest song has rapidly garnered popularity, and Nigerians have differing thoughts about it.
His new song “Ojoro INEC,” in which he attacks the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), provoked yet another round of social media outrage.
In the song, which was made public on Friday, May 30, Abdulkareem said that INEC was not truly independent because the administration of President Bola Tinubu was influencing the electoral authority.
Additionally, Abdulkareem criticized INEC’s choices about the permanent voter card (PVC).
One part of the song read; “E be like say INEC dey work for Tinubu, E be like say INEC dey work for APC, If na lie, Why you go legalise voting without PVC, If na lie, Why you no wan register political parties, If na lie, Why you no wan use electronic vote, If na lie Why you dey use judiciary to suppress us,” the lyrics from Eedris Abdulkareem’s new song read.
Ojoro INEC follows Eedris Abdulkareem’s release of “Tell Your Papa,” in which he instructed Seyi Tinubu to inform his father about the plight of Nigerians, which was banned by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
