David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is a Nigerian musician who made headlines after he paid a female fan an enormous amount of money.
Davido announced his intention to give away money to followers on Saturday, May 31, when he made a comeback to social network X, formerly Twitter.
He wrote, “I feel like sharing money today.”
Soon after, a female fan named Davidoheir attracted Davido’s attention with a video of her dancing to a song; the brief clip showed the woman with a lot of hair on her head.
In response to the video, Davido asked for the female fan’s account number, which she promptly gave him.
The DMW label boss then shared a screenshot of a bank transfer demonstrating that he had sent the female fan five million naira.
The money was for her to have a new hairstyle, Davido stated in a caption. Davido captioned the image he shared of the debit alert.
Davido’s kindness comes after another instance in which a woman who supported Wizkid asked him for financial assistance for her sick sister.
the girl wrote; “Good day everyone, if many of you have noticed I haven’t been online for a while now. Because I Have been trying to sort out somethings offline, but it has choked up my neck that I can’t handle it alone anymore. My sister has serious health issues, and we are in need of 7 million,”
So please sir @davido I really need your support and help. Your not helping me but my sister God bless you,” she added.
