Following his wife’s appearance in an interview with well-known content producer Egungun (born Kuye Adegoke), a Nigerian man posted on social media to express his anguish, which caused Egungun to become trending on the internet.
The male disclosed that they have been married since 2022 and have a kid who is four years old, but the wife, Dmamacitaaa, claimed to be single.
User @ChuksEricE shared a video of the interview and reported the event on X (formerly Twitter). Although she has always been in relationships, the woman in the video adamantly declared that she is single and that she is “chilling.”
She said, “I’m 22. I’m looking for a kind, generous, and fine man.”
The woman’s husband came forward to correct the record after the video went viral, saying the woman in the interview is his wife, and they have been married since 2022, he revealed in an online message.
He also revealed that Dmamacitaaa’s family refused to return her wedding money, even though they did not live together, and that their marriage produced a daughter.
He wrote: “Three days ago, I was just receiving messages from my friends all over, telling me they saw my wife on Egungun’s page, where she said she is a nurse and single. Meanwhile, we have been married since 2022, and she has a 4-year-old daughter for me.”
He added that, “I live in Asaba, and she is living in Lagos. Her parents have refused to return my dowry, and this has been eating me up. I have all the evidence you need.”
