In Danbare, Kumbotso Local Government Area, Kano State, a woman has petitioned a Kano Shari’a Court to dissolve her two-year marriage, which she claims her parents approved of for material possessions.
Following unsuccessful attempts in other courts to have her marriage to her husband, Sabo Shehu Kabara, terminated, Maimuna Umar Gora went to the court.
Gora claimed that although she is in love with her boyfriend, her parents married the man she doesn’t know “because he owns a farm in our town where he has been visiting and sought my parents’ consent to marry me.”
Khadi Munzali Idris Gwadabe postponed the case till June 12 and directed that a summons be sent to the estranged husband.
I used to believe I might DIY a cross country technique– never
ever once more. Movers are one hundred% worth it.
