I’ll sever ties with Davido, ChiefPriest if they campaign publicly for APC – VeryDarkMan

VeryDarkMan, a social media influencer and critic, has threatened to cut off connections with socialite Cubana Chiefpriest and artist Davido if they officially endorse the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC.

In response to the pair’s recent visit to the White House, he issued the threat.

If Davido and Cubana Chiefpriest openly campaign for the APC before the general elections in 2027, VDM, who has been harshly critical of the APC government, urged them to end their relationship with him.

The influencer stated, “I don’t have a problem with who anyone chooses to support politically,” in a video statement posted on his Instagram profile. Davido, Chiefpriest, or any other influencer will only cause me trouble if they begin openly endorsing the APC or another political party in 2027. I’ll oppose you.

“Let the people decide. Don’t deceive them to vote for the wrong politicians because of the love they have for you after you have been bought over with money… Any politician that wants the people to support him should speak for himself. Let him campaign for himself; he should not use celebrities.

“He should communicate his plans to the people. If any celebrity campaigns for any politician, I will come for that celebrity. Let the suffering masses decide. They know best. If you decide to vote for Tinubu despite what is happening in this regime, then no problem. If you think that’s what works for you, there’s absolutely no problem. And if you decide that it is another party that will take you out of the problem, then no problem. But no celebrity should campaign for any politician.”
