Adesokan Emmanuel, often known as Shank Comics, is a well-known social media comedian and content producer who has disclosed that his father’s conversion from Islam to Christianity was influenced by food.
He claims that his father, a Muslim who was starving, became a Christian after receiving food from a church.
The creator of the sketch revealed this in a recent discussion with another Canadian video creator. Since then, the video has gone popular on social media.
He said, “I’m a Christian. Although I have a Muslim name, Saheed. My dad was a Muslim, but there was a time he was very hungry, and a church gave him food—then he converted to Christianity. My dad is so cheap. We were just hungry.”
