Adunni Ade, a Nigerian actress, has threatened to sue those who spread false rumors that she hasn’t found a mate because of her attractiveness.
remembers that during the weekend, there were numerous unsubstantiated reports that the 48-year-old actress blamed her for being unmarried.
Adunni denied the story, calling it fake news, in response to the outrage the news caused.
She gave all platforms a 24-hour deadline to remove the reports in a post on X.
Adunni Ade threatened legal action if her ultimatum was disregarded, while accusing all media sources who covered it of disseminating false material in order to engage.
“I kindly request you to take down this post within 24 hours to prevent further action involving my legal team.
“I don’t appreciate the fact that you are using my name to peddle false news and articles with no verifiable source just to generate engagement”, she stated.
