According to a Nigerian woman named Oyinna Ogbonna, a woman’s husband “shipped” her to the village after locking up her shop and taking some of her business capital.
She recounted; I really can’t get over a woman asking for me to assist with some business capital, and I did, only for her to tell me her husband locked the shop and shipped her to the village. I can’t find the empathy in me.
