According to social analyst Solomon Buchi, the most cultured women in Nigeria are those from the Yoruba ethnic group.
He asserts that what makes them unique is their capacity for accomplishment, education, and adherence to traditional family values.
His viewpoint, which he expressed on social media and which has generated internet discussion, reads
‘My personal observation; Yoruba women seem to be the most cultured women in Nigeria — their ability to be educated, successful and still hold conservative family values is consistent. There’s something beautiful about a woman never outgrowing conservative roles in marriage, and still upholding femininity. It’s quite ironic because I also consider the Yoruba tribe to be the most progressive tribe in Nigeria.”
