Veteran Nollywood actress and ordained minister Eucharia Anunobi is once more leading trends on Nigerian social media with a recent video in which she gave a stern spiritual warning to clubbers.
In the now-viral video, Eucharia, who was wearing leopard-skin-patterned outfits, earnestly advised individuals to desist from “dancing with the devil.” Nightclubs are not where one can discover purpose and peace, she continued.
She declared: You want to club? Club with Christ. Stop dancing with the devil. I am the catalyst brought to reawaken you.
Her words were greeted with a combination of responses from her followers. Though some of them commended her spiritual interest, others could not help but remark about her thick makeup, facial expressions, and over-the-top tone, which they found ironic given what she was saying. This is not the first time the actress has been criticized for her unconventional method of evangelism. She was previously criticized after she took a Bible to the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) red carpet.
Nevertheless, she has not stopped preaching, taking advantage of her pulpit to convey religious and moral messages.
