Nollywood actress, Aniebiet Francis, revealed that she was called a bitter feminist because she began to criticize women who make men comfortable in their unemployment.
She commented in response to a Facebook post by Nigerian pastor’s wife, Emem Isong. She said,
“This post had me laughing so much. When I started criticizing women who make men comfortable being broke, jobless and unproductive,” she wrote.
“Pick me women and their ‘crowns’ have called me bitter feminist advocating pu**y-prenuership. Now a married and well-respected pastor’s wife is preaching that sermon, car caught their tongues.”.
“The truth is, years ahead of this generation and I am not afraid to say that truth which everyone is thinking but are too afraid to speak, adding that she also had the courage to be alone in a room full of opposing views and yet still yell that truth into power.
“I will go get food and eat abeg!”
