uBlock origin Android - uBlock origin safari - ublock origin internet explorer - uBlock origin operaUsers of the Adblock Plus plugin may be a little perturbed to find that the plugin maker is actually selling ads. I was once a fan, but it seems the popular plugin has been going downhill for a while. I believe it allows many more ads than it used to, and hampers browser performance. This let me to find an alternative.
I found one in uBlock Origin. A search for “Adblocker” or “Adblock” may not yield a result for uBlock in the Chrome or Firefox plugin store. So it was pretty hard to find.
uBlock origin safari - ublock origin internet explorer - uBlock origin opera - uBlock origin AndroiduBlock is free and open-source. I tested it on the most ad-cluttered websites and it performed extremely well. A look over on Reddit for comments about uBlock only supported my findings.
There have been times where legit, non-ad pages have loaded blank. I have also had problems with forms on banking sites. A problem that can be forgotten about with how easy it is to white-list sites. Simply click the icon in the browser, then hit the “Power” button to turn it off for that site.
Get uBlock on your browser and let us know what it feels like to have this kinda Adblocker.and let me know how much you like or dislike it in the comments section below. Note: I have not been paid to write this post. This post is completely my opinion and nothing more.
